My 14 year old Clydesdale mare slowly developed, over a period of time, loose and then sloppy manure. We tested the PH in her manure which showed an acidic reading of 6.2. We started her on the EquineCare Probiotic and within 2 weeks the PH had moved to 6.8, a very healthy result. Her manure is now back to 'grenades' as my partner calls them, normal formed manure. We were lucky to have access to a very accurate PH meter. Interestingly her louder than normal gut sounds and a slightly bloated look have also settled. She had never been fed grains (common causation of acidosis) so it possible her changed gut biome was simply age related. I truly recommend this product.
